Racism Rush

Today we reported on racism in football. We went to talk to our p.e teachers and asked them for there views about racism in football.

They said that they thought that it was disgraceful and any player found to be racist in football should be completely banned from the sport. They also said that anti racism should sported by a big brand like nike or van’s. I asked questions like “do you think david Cameron should all of his time working on stopping racism in football?” and “how do you think we will achieve our goal to stopping racism in football and racism all together?”

Fitness in schools

Students rushed into the sports hall ready for their fitness lesson. They huddled around the teacher to discuss about fitness and activities about pulse and how children should exercise After the discussion they had a friendly game of tag. We took one of the students out ,Marco, to talk about the sports facilities . Our reporter Art asked Marco “What do you think of the sports in the school. Marco replied with “It is really great and I am satisfied”

Students then took a Bleep Test( a test on how far a person can run)to test their fitness levels. The 1st group of people Shamar won reaching an amazing level 7 on the bleep test. Art the asked some questions. “DO you think the play ground should be expanded in order for more space to run around? What about the suggestion that some schools have put playgrounds on the roof” Art asked. Shamar replied with “Yes, ‘I think it would be really good for a playground on the roof and it being expanded.” Lots of students liked the idea of the playground on the roof expanding or moving it to the roof, However Marco thought different. “I think it would not be a nice idea for it going on the roof due to health and safety reasons”

Today in Harris boys it seems that most students are satisfied with the sports facilities such as footballs basket balls and after school sports clubs however many believe there could be a bigger playground
